Shannon Beebe
Associate
I was raised in the Fraser Valley, earned my bachelor’s degree at UBC, and graduated cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2011. During law school, I
supported access-to-justice initiatives and completed a certificate in Environmental Law. After graduating, I provided pro bono legal support to survivors of domestic violence and supported women lawyers’ mentorship through chair positions with the D.C. Women’s Bar Association. I practiced general civil litigation and employment law after being called to the bars of Illinois, Washington D.C., Virginia and B.C.

Since 2021, I have practiced family law exclusively. I regularly appear before the B.C. Supreme Court. I will look at your case holistically, empower you with an understanding of your rights and options, and guide you in selecting the best legal tools to achieve your goals. I provide litigation services using a collaborative approach. This allows my clients to make full use of the toolkit available under court rules while off-ramping from litigation when appropriate into alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation or arbitration, ensuring the focus remains on resolution while minimizing cost and conflict.

Outside the office you will find me cycling around the city or hiking through one of B.C.'s beautiful parks.
