Associate

Growing up as the youngest of four children, I had an endless amount of sibling squabbles to referee. I developed a penchant for problem solving that led me to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology so I could better understand how people tick. Afterwards, I realized that becoming a family law lawyer was the best way for me to help people solve their most difficult problems.

As a lawyer, I work to minimize the cost of family disputers and maintain a child-centric approach. My files most often resolve in agreements or consent orders, but if mutual agreement cannot be found, I am prepared to resolve my client's matters in court.

I obtained my Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2013. I was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2014. I was called to the bar in Ontario in 2018 after relocating there. I returned home to British Columbia in 2022.  I have represented clients at the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Ontario Court of  Justice, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

In my spare time, I am an avid hockey fan. My love of the game dates back to playing on a minor league team with my twin brother. I have a goal to attend an NHL game in every arena, and have so far ticked Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, and Nashville off my list. I also love playing the guitar, dancing, reading murder mystery novels, and cycling.
